This summer, Colegio Manuel Peleteiro and Tiro Libre are organising a camp for young people between the ages of 12 and 19 who love basketball, who are interested in improving their Spanish and enjoying this sport i n a unique setting.

Price: € 1.700


Players from 12 to 19 years of age can register for the camp. To complete your booking, it is necessary to fill in the online registration form and send it together with proof of the first payment.

After completing the booking, scan your passport (make sure it has not expired). Reservation

Reservation of a place on the camp will be considered final once we have received the form and proof of the first payment.

Places are limited, and will be assigned by order of registration.


The participation in the CAMPUS OF SPANISH AND BASKETBALL BASKETBALL CAMP implies the player's acceptance of all the general conditions each and every one of the general conditions detailed above. detailed above.

Registration for the SPANISH AND BASKETBALL CAMP costs € 1.700.

A deposit of €500 must be paid on reserving a place.

The remaining amount must be paid in two instalments:

  • 10 April, a payment of €500
  • 1 June, a payment of €700

Families will be sent an email to remind them of the dates set for the second and third payment.

Registrations that have not been paid by the indicated dates will not be considered a s completed, and the place will be given to another player on the waiting list and the amount paid as a deposit will be forfeited.

The reservation will be cancelled if payment is not made by the indicated dates.



On arrival at the airport in Santiago de Compostela, the participants will be collected by the Camp trainers.

They will be taken by bus to the Colegio Manuel Peleteiro.

On the journey back home, the participants will also be taken to the airport by bus, where the trainers will accompany them to the boarding gate.


  • The player must have a passport that is valid on the day of departure.
  • Players from the European Union must bring their European Health Card. Players from outside of the European Union must have health insurance to cover healthcare for common illnesses.


The price includes accident and civil liability cover for all of the players, covering the activities carried out at the camp.


The organisers of the Camp wi ll contact the family and arrange an online or in person meeting to answer any doubts or questions about the camp in which their children will be taking part.


We suggest the following as a general idea to help you pack your bags:

  • Training gear: basketball tops and shorts
  • Plenty of basketball socks
  • Trainers and walking shoes
  • Underwear, socks and pyjamas
  • Shorts and trousers
  • T-shirts
  • Sweatshirts and a long sleeved jacket
  • Bath towel and flannel
  • Toilet bag with shower gel, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, and a brush or comb

The camp has a laundry service, and clothes can be washed up until one day before the camp ends. This service is also included in the price.

Players can check in suitcases up to 23 kg in weight, and rucksacks can be taken on board the plane as hand luggage.

Please remember that Spanish plugs are different from English ones, and so you’ll need to but an adapter to plug in your mobile or any other electronic device. These must be carried in your suitcase.

Please remember that the currency used in Spain is the Euro, so you will have to change your own national currency before you travel.

As regards pocket money, remember that all expenses are included: journeys, trips, visits, lunch, dinner, a nd laundry services, etc. We consider that 150 euros will be enough for personal expenses such as drinks or souvenirs.


Players travelling to Spain to take part in our SPANISH AND BASKETBALL CAMP agree to:

  • Comply with the rules regarding correct behaviour in the different spaces and during the daytrips and excursions organised during your stay in Santiago de Compostela.
  • H ave a respectful attitude towards their companions, trainers and monitors.
  • Accept the authority, suggestions and recommendations of the Camp personnel: tutor, trainers, canteen staff, etc., in order to guarantee the smooth running of the programme.


Failure to comply with the following rules:

  • Consumption of alcohol or tobacco
  • Failing to attend training sessions
  • Any type of aggressive or exclusive behaviour towards their companions, trainers or Camp personnel
  • Failing to correctly respect the indications of the trainers/monitors
  • Causing damage to the installations or material at the school, or causing damage outside the installations
  • Stealing from the Camp or during any of the planned excursions

Any costs incurred as a result of expelling a player from the Camp will be paid by the player’s family.


Parents give their permission for the use of any photographic or audio-visual material in which the participant may appear so that it may be used on the Camp.

The participant’s personal details are confidential and will only be used for the purpose of organising the programme, in accordance with current legislation on the protection of personal data.

The organisation does not accept any liability for contents of the Camp that players may upload to their social networks.


In the event of cancelling the reservation for the camp, the amount of the first payment will be forfeited.

If the reservation is cancelled before 15 May, 50% of the amount paid will be refunded.

If the reservation is cancelled 20 days before the start date, 75% of the price will be forfeited.

If the reservation is cancelled 15 days before the start date, 100% of the pr ice will be forfeited.

Failing to arrive at the airport, not having a passport, abandoning the camp or cancelling 15 days before the start date will entail forfeiting 100% of the amount paid.


In the event of having to cancel the programme due to causes of force majeure, we will refund the fam ilies 100% of the amounts paid.
