VAMOS [ 51 ] NUESTROS RELATOS Hello again, before starting with this article I'm going to give you some context about what I'm going to write about. So as most of you know, I'm from london, and I moved to Spain around 5 years ago, and due to covid and other inconvenient coincidences I haven't been to london in 4 years, so as your going to read in the next para- graph, I was extremely happy to be on a flight back to london. Now, on the 3rd of August (one day before my trip to london) I couldn't wait for the next day, I prepared my suit that I would take onto the plane, and ob- viously I already hadmy suitcase prepared, I was also very exci- ted to see my Mauritian gran- dparents reaction because they didn't know anything about me going to london to visit them. The next day after finishing my morning routine I put my suit on, then we went to my Spa- nish grandparents house to say goodbye and so that my cou- sin could drive us to the airport. When we arrived we got our suit- cases out of the car and headed to the terminal after passing se- curity of course. Then we got on the airplane where I would be officially two hours away from my destination. When the plane touched down we got off and headed to the airport entrance where my dad would be waiting for us. Af- terwards dad would be driving us home. Originally we were going to visit my grandparents but we decided to give it a day or two to make sure we don't have COVID before going to visit them. The first thing we did was go to Krispy Kreme to get some do- nuts to snack on and to have for breakfast the next day, then we got home, and just by driving through my town road, so many memories of my childhood hit me. We got home and unpac- ked our stuff and I went to bed since I was drained. Eventually I woke up and had some donuts, then we went for a stroll around the galleria which is a shopping center close by, later we had lunch in Nandos which was delicious. After we went home, I played on my con- sole and my virtual reality head- set that I brought with me, and later on went to bed. In the morning we got ready to go to my grandparents house, and on our way we went shop- ping in a chinese food market, we also decided to try some Boba tea and it was actually very nice. Then we continued our journey to my grandparents house. When we arrived, I knocked on the door and my grandpa- rents didn't recognise me sin- ce I was in my suit. I had grown and changed a lot in 4 years that they hadn't seen me, also because they had no idea that I was comin so it was a huge surprise for them. That day my grandmother made me some food that I don't get in Spain and it was delicious as always, and then we went to have lunch with somemore family who were also very surprised and delighted to finally see me again. After lunch we headed back tomy grandpa- rents house since we were going to stay there for a few days. We woke up and I went for a stroll around the town with my dad. We also went to feed the ducks like I would when I was younger, and we also popped into a few stores to buy some English treats, then we also popped into a bar and bought a smoothie. After that we went back home and I introduced my grandparents to some video ga- mes. Thereafter, some family from the other day came over to visit and they played some games on my virtual reality headset, which was a nice experience for them, and it was very funny for me. That day is whenwe headed back home, and said our goodb- yes so that we could get ready to fly back to Spain. When we got home it was pretty late so we ordered a uber eats to bring us some boba tea and some nan- dos. Afterwards when we woke up we went for a drive by the Queen’s palace, we didn't do much that day except from dri- ving because there wasn't much to do. But then we got home pretty late again and decided to eat some pizza which we or- dered from Pizza hut, we orde- red exactly the same things that I used to eat years ago when I li- ved there. The next and last day we just packed our stuff and headed to the airport where we would say goodbye to dad and fly back to Spain.
