8 01 NOTICIAS EUROPEAN YOUTH PARLIAMENT EYP Vigo is an experience we won’t forget. Our first impression might not of been the best; as soon as we arrived and the organisers told us to form a circle and than proceeded to sing and do embarrassing dances, we were shocked to say the least. However, once we saw ourselves at the assembly hall, speaking in front of all the other delegates, the embarrassing games finally made sense, we were able to speak naturally without stuttering because there was nothing we could do that would be more embarrassing than all those ice breakers we did back in our committee rooms. EYP focuses not only CERTÁMENES DE DEBATE Y ORATORIA MEP NACIONAL Los alumnos del colegio que participaron en la XXVI Sesión Nacional del Modelo de Parlamento Europeo en Madrid el 14, 15 y 16 de marzo de 2026 fueron Beatriz Hernández Fernández, Mathéo López Magguilli e Irene Codesido Veiga, formando parte de la delegación de Galicia. on enhancing teenager’s public speaking abilities and shedding light on current EU problems, but on team building activities and really making sure every single delegate felt included. They encouraged us to socialise and meet new people, all while not feeling like we were competing with our peers. The EYP session lasted three days, the first day was dedicated entirely to getting to know your committee, on the second day we wrote our resolutions and later that night, our speeches, the generally assemble took place on the last day. We strongly recommend the EYP experience, and we are eagerly awaiting the national session which will be held in A Coruña in October this year.
